To improve port facilities and services that meet international standards, the Philippine Government, through the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), has developed and pursued a program to modernize all public ports in the country. One of the modernization programs pursued and implemented by the PPA is the modernization of the Manila North Harbor, which is the largest and leading domestic port in the Philippines and is recognized as a key hub for domestic commerce in the country.

MANILA NORTH HARBOUR PORT, INC. (MNHPI) is a product of human ingenuity which aims to boost the benchmark of maritime safety, security and efficiency in a worldwide scale. After having been awarded by the PPA the contract to operate and manage the Manila North Harbor, MNHPI envisions to transform the long-awaited infrastructure and process improvements at the busiest passenger and cargo terminal in the country, into a premier maritime hub.
